Not to be confused with the also scary Nicole Kidman movie The Others, Tom Tryon's book (and movie screenplay) The Other (no "s") tells the tale of twins Niles and Holland getting into nightmarish mischief in Depression-era America. Like The Waltons, but even more twisted and upsetting. An overlooked and all-but-forgotten scary tale!

One of my favorite creepy movies. Haven't seen it in forever. I think I read the book ages ago too.
